When the day’s nearly over and evening is nigh I sit on my porch and gaze at the sky As the red fades to pink and the colors grow faint It’s moments like this that I wish I could paint
If I was Namitjara or maybe Ken Done Or maybe even a Darcy Doyle clone I’d look at the colors with an artist’s trained eye And capture forever the fire in the sky
As the sky turns from red, through yellow and blue And a marvelous pallet of many toned hue That changes so quickly as day’s last light fades An ongoing picture of swift changing shades
Have no idea what those giant wooden structures are.. Thanks
